Brown Butter Cream Cheese Frosting
Golden flecks with a nutty flavor is the perfect addition to cream cheese frosting; and cinnamon rolls!
- ½ cup brown butter melted Check out our How to Brown Butter tutorial.
- 1 cup cream cheese softened
- 1⅖ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Cream together melted brown butter and cream cheese until smooth.
½ cup brown butter melted, 1 cup cream cheese softened
Add salt and vanilla; mix together until combined.
¼ tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Lastly add in powdered sugar a bit at a time mixing until smooth.
